Stopover in Doha before continuing to Bangkok

Day 3 Arriving in Bangkok 
Meeting point at Exit C, door 10. Transfering to the hotel and check in (rooms available at 2: 00 pm).

Free time today. Dinner and back to the hotel.

Day 4 Bangkok
Discovering Bangkok’s daily life through the aerial train and a ride of taxi-boat on river Chao Praya to the Tha Tien pier. Visit of the Royal Palace and the Wat Phra Keo, home to the giant emerald Buddha. Continuing with a visit of Wat Po and its lying Buddha 46 m long.Kai Kratiem tasting – garlic fried chicken with soy sauce. Lunch by the river. In the afternoon, visit of Yaowarat Chinese borough and the lively flower market. Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 5 Bangkok – Damnoen Saduak – Kanchanaburi
Leaving for Damnoen Saduak. Stopover at a coconut factory. Access to the floating market to see the floating houses. We’ll see the merchants and their  boats full of fruits and vegetables. Continuing to Kanchanaburi. Stopping at the Allied Cemetery to understand the history of the region. Kaeng Kai Baan tasting – chicken curry. Lunch. Train ride through berautiful landscapes then dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 6 Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya – Phitsanuloke
Leaving for Ayutthaya, Siam’s old capital and great archaeological site on UNESCO’s worl heritage. Visit of Wat Chai Mongkhol and its yard filled with buddha statues and its Chedi. The Wat Chedi Sri Suryothai built for a Thai princess and the Wat Lokayasutharan and its 37 m long Buddah. Pad Thai tasting. Lunch. Arriving in Phitsanuloke at the end of the day. Dinner and back to the hotel.

Day 7 Phitsanuloke – Sukhothai – Lampang – Chiang Mai
Leaving for Sukhothai historical park, a UNESCO world Heritage site. Visit of its main attractions: Wat Mahathat and Wat Sra Sri. Visit on foot or cycling with your guide. Tasting of Tom Kha Kai, a local chicken soup. Lunch. Leaving for Chiang Mai. Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 8 Chiang Mai 
See the sunrise ceremony while a long procession of monk walk in the city led by the oldest. Visit of the Doi Suthep, which summit os located at 1,601 m, it’s one of the biggest Buddhist sanctuary in the country.Tasting of a national drink: Samg Som. Lunch. Visit of Sankhamphaeng village knowned for its craft. It’s the place to shop for lacquer, silk, jewels and parasols. Dinner of Kantoke, a specialty and a traditional dance show. Discover the night market of Chiang Mai. Back to the hotel.

Day 9 Elephant camp – Orchids farm – Chiang Mai
Visit of a camp where elephants are trained. Discover Mae Malai’s colorful market. Tasting of a specialty from Chiang Mai : the Kao Soi, egg noodles served with red curry and coconut milk. Lunch. Visit of an orchid farm where 1300 types of orchids are found. Dinner and back to the hotel.

Day 10 Chiang Mai – Luang Prabang
Free time in the morning and for lunch. Transferring to the airport for our flight to Luang Prabang. Arriving in Luang Prabang. Transfering to the hotel where room are available at 2 :00 pm. At the end of the afternoon, we climb up the That Phoussi to admire the most beautiful view of Luang Prabang and see the sunset. Night exploration of the market. Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 11 Luang Prabang – Kuang Sy- Luang Prabang
Visit of the national museum, home of the Pra Bang, a gold Buddah that gave its name to the city. Discovering Vat Sene, whose golden facade is popular. The morning ends with the visit of Vat Visoun and Vat Aham. Lunch. In the afternoon, we ride to the Kouang Sy waterfalls. Returning to Luang Prabang, dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 12 Luang Prabang – Pak Ou – Luang Prabang
Visit of Vat Xieng Thong. Cruising the Mekong to Pak Ou grottos: Tham Ting and Tham Phoum. Lunch. Returning to the old imperial capital with two stopovers on the way : Ban Xang Hai and Ban Xieng Khong villages. Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 13 Luang Prabang – Phoukhoune – Vang Vieng
At sunrise, you can observe Brinzes leaving their pagodas to receive offerings from believers. Leaving for Vang Vieng via mountain roads. Stopovers on the way including Phoukhoune, main commercial crossroad between Vientiane and Luang Prabang. Lunch. Stopover in Pathang to admire the cliffs. Arriving in Vang Vieng in the afternoon. Free time to admire the Nam Song river. Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 14 Vang Vieng – Van Sang – Vientiane
The capital just celebrated its 450 years. Stopover at Van-Sang, an old sanctuary. Arriving in the capital for lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the city’s main sites. Discovering Wat Sisaket, the city’s oldest monastery. Visit of Ho Phra Keo, a royal temple now transformed into a museum. Visit of That Luang, , stopover at the Arch of Triumph, the Patou Xay.  If time allows, we’ll visit Vat Si Muang, Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 15 Vientiane – Pakse – Plateau Des Bolovens (vol) Pakse
Transfering to the airport in the morning for our flight to Paske. Ride to Bolovens and its coffe and tea plantations. Going through Tadfane and its waterfalls. Continuing to Paxong and Tad Lo. Coffee and tea tasting at a plantation. Lunch. Visit of Pong Neua and Kok Bhoung villages. Returning to Paske in the afternoon. Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day 16 Pakse – Région des 4000 Iles – Ile De Khong 
Ride to the southernmost point of the country to reach Ban Nakassang pier. Canoe ride among the islands of Si-Phane Done (4,000 islands). Visit of Khone island. Lunch on the island followed by a tuk tuk ride and a visit of  the Liphi waterfalls. Opportunity to visit the island of Det. Dinner and back to the hotel.
Day  17 Ile De Khong – Khone Phapheng – Nong Nok Khian – Pakse – Return flight
Back on the continent, we get on our way to the border post between Laos and Cambodia at Nong Nok Khian/Dom Kralor. Stopover at Phapeng waterfall nicknamed the Mekong’s Niagara. They are the highest waterfalls of South-East Asia. Lunch. Returning to Paske. Transfering to the airport.
